The 20 week programme is split into two halves. The first 10 weeks is the foundations and knowledge you will need, including: photography, copy-writing, campaign structures, targeting, hashtags, real examples, case-studies and everything in between. Be prepared to study hard!
2. 1:1 Coaching and Mentoring
Full support means each learner can ask questions at any time during the Academy. The tutor will make himself available by e-mail, call or the private WhatsApp group. The tutor can also do 'shadowing' at their placement business if needed for practical guidance and help.
3. Real Work Placement
Quite possibly the most valuable part of the Academy. 10-weeks of the Academy is in a placement with a local business. This real-life working experience is absolutely second-to-none. Test the ideas you have, put into practice your knowledge, build a portfolio and gain confidence.
4. Valuable Learning Resources
There are hundreds of books, successful social-media accounts to follow, gurus and apps for extra reading and learning material. Throughout the Academy you will be guided to the best ones to utilise if you want to take your learning further.

After the 5 month programme, learners will have the skills required and a potential position within their Placement company.
If you have done well with the Placement company, and they have seen value in your work, the aim is they will want to keep you!
Through our Social Media Academy Agency (the working side of our business) we will arrange a contract for you and Voila! Your first paid work! How simple does that sound?
“What if my placement didn't work out?” Don't worry, if your placement didn’t work for you, or them, you still have a real-life portfolio! We will look at this and if we feel it's good (it might just have been a bad fit) we will look at our clients and do our best to match you with another local business. We will then still offer you a part-time contract through us at Social Media Academy Agency. If we can, we will.
